Negative emotions such as depression and loneliness are a part of being human. How would it be if there were objects for everyday use that reflected not only positive but also negative emotions of people?
An important criterion is that the object should be needed by as many people as possible in everyday life, regardless of the cultural backgrounds. Water is a fundamental element of life. Drinks are prepared with water and tea belongs to many cultures. Therefore, I choose an object of tea preparation to reach people of different ages. The posture of the figure gives a sad impression and the shape provides enough space for the tea to unfold in the hot water.
The scene of pouring hot water is part of my work. The user does the performance. This concept shortens the distance between people and artistic expression.
